菲律賓在全球有超過兩百二十萬名的海外勞工(OFW)，他們除了為家鄉提供經濟支持，也將菲律賓的文化推廣到世界各地，尤其是菲律賓人引為傲的選美比賽。在臺灣的菲律賓移工幾乎每個月都會舉辦選美比賽，平日他們是工廠廠房生產線蒼白的螺絲釘，但一到假日選美比賽的現場，即回歸本我、勇敢做自己。在一場又一場的男性選美比賽裡，參賽者呈現多樣的勞動者面貌，有悲傷也有甜蜜，當伸展臺下的掌聲響起時，他們看見夢的方向與家的距離。

Over 2.2 million overseas workers (OFWs) are from the Philippines. They support their hometowns financially, and bring their culture to the rest of the world, especially the beauty pageants that Filipinos are proud of. Filipino migrant workers in Taiwan hold beauty pageants almost every month. They might be the faceless, nameless factory workers, but in the holiday beauty pageants, they reveal their true color, bravely. The documentary follows the contestants and films their various faces. You might wonder – when they walk the catwalk and hear the applause, are they also walking in the direction of dreams, or towards the distant home?
